How to use FAQ Set
3 min read · Published August 11, 2026
Every buyer asks the same questions before ordering: shipping, sizing, returns, customization. This tool writes the answers once, you paste them into the listing, and the questions stop coming.
What you'll fill in
These are the fields the tool asks for, exactly as they appear in the app. Required fields are marked; the rest you can leave blank and CopySprout fills the gaps.
- ProductRequired
The specific item as shoppers see it — be exact.
Example: Hand-thrown ceramic mug
- MaterialsRequired
What it’s made from — Etsy shoppers filter by this.
Example: stoneware
- Lead timeRequired
How long before you ship.
Example: 3-5 business days
- Do you take custom orders?Required
Do you take custom requests?
Example: yes or no
- Where do you ship?Required
Where you ship.
Example: US and Canada
How to use it
- Open the app and pick FAQ Set from the Shop group.
- Fill in the product and materials.
- Add your lead time, like "3-5 business days". Be honest, this is the number that sets expectations.
- Answer the two questions: do you take custom orders, and where do you ship.
- Run it. You get a set of questions a buyer would actually ask, each with a clear, friendly answer.
- Paste them into the listing's description or FAQ section.
What you get
A ready-to-paste set of buyer questions and answers covering the practical stuff: timing, custom work, and shipping.
Tips
- Good FAQs answer the questions buyers ask before buying. If you hear the same question twice, it belongs in here.
- Write it once and reuse it across listings that share the same details. Most of your shop runs on the same answers.
