How to use Gift Note
3 min read · Published August 11, 2026
Gift orders deserve a note that fits the moment. This tool writes it from the occasion: a wedding note and a birthday note should not sound the same, and it keeps them different.
What you'll fill in
These are the fields the tool asks for, exactly as they appear in the app. Required fields are marked; the rest you can leave blank and CopySprout fills the gaps.
- ProductRequired
The specific item as shoppers see it — be exact.
Example: Hand-thrown ceramic mug
- Who it’s forRequired
Who the gift is for.
Example: Sarah
- OccasionOptional
The gift or seasonal use — helps tags match searches.
Example: wedding, birthday
How to use it
- Open the app and pick Gift Note from the Customers group.
- Add the product that was ordered.
- Add the recipient's first name if you have it. A name makes the note feel handwritten.
- Add the occasion, like wedding, birthday, or housewarming. This shapes the whole note.
- Run it. You get a short, warm note that fits on a gift card.
What you get
A short, sweet note matched to the occasion and recipient. Warm without being over the top, and short enough to fit the card.
Tips
- No prices or sales talk. A gift note is for the person opening the box, and a discount code in it cheapens the moment.
- Gift buyers remember shops that make the unwrapping nice. The note is the difference between a package and a present.
