How to use Sale & Coupon Copy
3 min read · Published August 11, 2026
Announcing a sale means writing the banner, a message for your buyers, and a social post. This tool writes all three in one run, all saying the same thing in the right tone.
What you'll fill in
These are the fields the tool asks for, exactly as they appear in the app. Required fields are marked; the rest you can leave blank and CopySprout fills the gaps.
- The dealRequired
The offer — keep it short.
Example: 20% off
- OccasionRequired
The gift or seasonal use — helps tags match searches.
Example: Valentine’s Day, shop anniversary
- ProductOptional
The specific item as shoppers see it — be exact.
Example: Hand-thrown ceramic mug
- When does it end?Optional
When the sale ends — optional.
Example: Sunday night
How to use it
- Open the app and pick Sale & Coupon Copy from the Shop group.
- Put the deal in the first box, short and exact: "20% off".
- Add the occasion, like Valentine's Day or your shop anniversary. This gives the sale its reason and its story.
- Add the product if the sale is about one item, and the end date if there is one. A deadline makes the sale feel real.
- Run it. You get the banner line, a buyer message, and a social post.
- Paste each piece where it goes: banner in shop settings, message to your buyers, post to your feed.
What you get
Three ready pieces: a banner line for your shop, a short message for buyers, and a social post. The same deal, told consistently everywhere.
Tips
- You can paste the banner into Shop Settings under Announcement.
- Keep the end date in every piece. Sales work when they feel like an event with a deadline, not a permanent discount.
