How to use Social Post
3 min read · Published August 11, 2026
Social Post writes a post for a specific platform from your product details. Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok: the wording changes per platform, and this tool does the adapting so you don't have to.
What you'll fill in
These are the fields the tool asks for, exactly as they appear in the app. Required fields are marked; the rest you can leave blank and CopySprout fills the gaps.
- ProductRequired
The specific item as shoppers see it — be exact.
Example: Hand-thrown ceramic mug
- Occasion or seasonRequired
The gift or seasonal use — helps tags match searches.
Example: holiday gift guide
- PlatformRequired
Where you’ll post — wording changes by platform.
Example: Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, or TikTok
- ToneOptional
How you want it to sound.
Options: Friendly · Professional
How to use it
- Open the app and pick Social Post from the Social group.
- Add the product you want to feature.
- Add the occasion or season if it fits, like "holiday gift guide". It gives the post a reason to exist beyond "here's a product".
- Type the platform you're posting to: Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, or TikTok.
- Run it. You get a post written for that platform, with a call to action that points back to your shop.
- Grab a photo of the product, add it, and post.
What you get
A platform-ready post: short, punchy, with a call to action that brings people from the feed to your shop.
Tips
- Add a link to your shop in the post or your bio. A great post without a link is a great post that goes nowhere.
- Run it once per platform instead of copying one post everywhere. Each platform reads differently, and the tool handles that.
